Also, the company will communicate both Yamaha FZ16 and FZ-S under a single style statement – Stylish Macho. The Yamaha FZ series are very popular amongst youngsters and have been a prized possession of more than 1 lakh happy customers.Speaking on the latest versions of Yamaha FZ16 and FZ-S, Koji Arai, Director & Chief Sales Officer , India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. said, “With the refreshed versions of FZ16 and FZ-S, we want to strengthen our presence in the highly competitive 150cc+ segment and increase our share from 12% to 20% by year-end. We have kept the essence of FZ series bikes intact while altering the aesthetics to exemplify the masculine feeling these tough machines are known for. The bikes boast of 153cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder high torque engine for active & aggressive city riding. The engine is born out of the quest for the ultimate in intake efficiency, combustion efficiency and minimum horsepower loss. A negative pressure type 26mm carburetor with TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) contributes to outstanding engine response. The 5-speed transmission provides a smooth operational touch and the gear ratios provide optimum performance and agility in city riding.

The 1098S is the result of when form and function blend together in a truly artistic and powerful way. Right out of the box it’s hard to find a better all-around motorcycle for the streets and highways wherever you might ride.

The Ducati 1098S features the Testastretta Evolucione engine, a fuel injected, two cylinder, 4-stroke motor that produces a whopping 160 horsepower @ 9750 rpm, and 90.4 foot pounds of torque @ 8000 rpm, it’s a smooth sounding wicked motor with power to burn. This motorcycle is put together so well and my hat is off to Ducati. Producing such a masterpiece is no small feat of engineering, and wrapping that slick body around such a monster of a motor just plain worked so well. In my humble opinion i can’t find a more elegant and handsome motorcycle in production today. Ducati is a legend in superbike racing, and taking from the Ducati racing ventures, this model is ready for the track the first second you put your hands on it!

Yamaha R15

The Yamaha YZF R15 is a stunning looking motorcycle. It is also a pretty ordinary looking motorcycle. No, really. Look at its R1 lines from any front-ish angle, and it will blow you away. From the rear, though, it looks more or less like any other bike, aside from the bulk of the fairing.The tail light could have been more stylish and I think a sleeker tailpiece would have lent the bike more crispness visually. I also think that, while effective, that rear mudguard is really awkward looking. There are other models, like the international R6 that sport similar units, but still. If I were riding the Yamaha R15 around, especially in the dry, I’d remove the whole thing.

Bajaj Pulsar 220

The thing with the Pulsar 220, on the other hand, is that most people quickly proclaim undying love for its look, or can’t stand it. Me? I just walk around to the back of the bike and stare devotedly at the razor sharp tailpiece and the two-slat tall light. I’m a little disappointed that Bajaj chose not to evolve the Pulsar’s design with the Bajaj Pulsar 220cc and didn’t give it some bright, extroverted colours either.
